Why It's Unlikely That You Can Succeed on Your Own

- The 7 "Deadly" Obstacles -

I call these the 7 deadly obstacles to achieving a fit and healthy body because that's exactly what they are. After doing this for over 12 years, I've observed specific "roadblocks" that hold people (just like you) back from greater health and fitness.

Let's be real. We all want better health and a nicer body but the majority of people simply allow these obstacles to get in their way. But I know it's not your fault. Let's find out why.

Deadly Obstacle #1

First, it’s likely that you workout regularly, but let’s be honest – you are not able to push yourself, right? You give up when the going gets tough. After all, it’s pretty easy to do so if you’re working out by alone.

You have no one to be accountable to.

There’s no one encouraging you to do one more push-up or finish that last hard interval. But you're not alone - millions of people are the same. Heck, even I need someone to push me!

Deadly Obstacle #2

The second obstacle standing in your of getting amazingly fit on your own is, like most exercisers, even though you workout, you're really not quite sure what to do when working out. But hey, it's not your fault. There are just far too many "gurus" telling you what to do and how to workout and the market is overwhelmed with gimmicky workout routines that make crazy promises.

You’re just not quite sure which workout routine to follow or which exercises will produce the results that you want. But hey, most people don’t. That’s why I’m able to do what I do. To show you the way!

Deadly Obstacle #3

The third obstacle you're up against is a lack of time. Considering the crazy fast-paced world we live in, you’re probably pressed for time and subsequently your workouts have taken a backseat to other demands such as kids and work, or maybe working out has started to feel like “chore” because spending 2 hours in the gym is the last thing you want to do.

It would be easy for me to tell you to re-prioritize your life to make more time for exercising and eating well but the reality is that you shouldn't have to. You're already committed to living healthy so you deserve a program that will fit your schedule - not the other way around!

The obstacles and challenges to creating lasting health and the body you deserve are ever-present. What you need to do is find a solution that overcomes these challenges and provides you with a proven formula that will work time and again, for life! I hope to provide that for you.

I mean why even bother losing weight if it’s only for a few months. What’s the point? After all, research tells us that those whose weight is always “up and down” are even more at risk for poor health than those who are “consistently” overweight.

Likewise, have you ever noticed how quickly your body can get out of shape? Can you think back to a time when you made great improvements in your fitness level by training consistently, only to have all your progress flushed down the toilet because you got sick, went on vacation, or took a few days or weeks off training?

Deadly Obstacle #4

A lack of consistency is a real dream killer! It is the fourth obstacle that you’re up against.

Not being consistent with your workouts (or eating well for that matter) will halt your ability to lose weight and get fit more than anything else. I know a lot of people who are hot and cold. I’m sure you do too.

They go “hardcore” and train every day for a month (perhaps to get ready for that tropical vacation), and then they become satisfied with the results they see… so they stop. They don’t do anything for a few weeks until they get to that breaking point where they’ve put the weight back on, their clothes don’t fit, or they feel horribly out of shape by walking up a set of stairs. Then, if they’re lucky, they start the cycle again. It’s the human syndrome. Can you relate?

If you have been inconsistent with your workouts then don’t worry, that will be a thing of the past by the time you leave this website.

Now I know it’s seems as though I’ve stacked the odds against you. I’ve already mentioned 4 obstacles that are working against you and preventing from reaching or maintaining your health and fitness goals. And as they say in the TV infomercials, “But wait, there’s more!”

Before I tell you about how you will overcome these challenges, there are 3 more quick roadblocks that you need to know about. The reason I’m bringing these up is that all change stems from awareness. If you are not aware of what’s holding you back, then how can you change? It’s almost impossible.

Deadly Obstacle #5

You may have simpy given up because you’re not seeing the results you want! This is a big one. And it's totally understandable. Why would anyone continue doing something that isn't producing results? Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same over and over again and expecting a different result?

For me, when I've tried something repeatedly and it doesn't work I change my approach. I try something different. That's the only way to get a different result. My hope is that you soon realize that my training system will provide you with that different approach. The one that actually produces results for you!

Deadly Obstacle #6

You've become increasingly bored with your workouts! Who hasn't become bored with their workouts. If you're like me you probably get sick of doing the same workout more than a handful of times, right?

And there's a reason for that. We like change. We need change. Your body adapts best when it is challenged in new and exciting ways.

When it comes to working out I'm really ADHD - I'm changing things up all the time to avoid boredom and to challenge my body - and my Fitter U Fitness program reflects that.

Deadly Obstacle #7

If you're a human being then you may lack motivation to workout.

However, I won’t really consider this last obstacle because if you’re here it’s because you ARE motivated to change. And I applaud you tremendously for that. It says a lot about the type of person you are.

Here's what I think. I think you are someone who knows that you deserve so much more. You know you can be so much more. You're just waiting for that inner "radiant" you to burst out. You're ready to live your life to the fullest and with the best health possible.

But there is one more obstacle that I will add...


The Cost of Hiring a Personal Trainer is Outrageous!

For the majority of the population, working with a personal trainer is just not a reality considering that most “good” trainers cost upwards of $75/hour. Maybe you have worked with a trainer, I don’t know. But from my experience I’m going to assume that you didn’t train with him or her every single time you walked into the gym. If you did that’s great – I hope you saw some incredible results.

My point is this…

You need a coach (or a trainer), the right environment, and a training system that will produce results.

I think by now you realize that too.

Pro Athlete Training for the Everyday Person

My name is Yuri Elkaim and you may or may not know me. If you do know me, you’ve probably enjoyed my original 12-week Fitter U program, used my Treadmill Trainer running workouts, or even read my book – Eating for Energy.

As a former professional soccer player, I understand the importance of being part of something bigger than yourself. When you are part of a team, magic happens. There is a synergy that occurs between all the team members, which can lead to incredible results.

I mention the idea of pro athlete training. I hope this doesn’t frighten you. It doesn’t mean that you’ll be training 8 hours per day or going through workouts only fit for Olympic athletes. Not at all.

The notion of “pro athlete training” is not necessarily about the “type” of workouts or training system that Fitter U Fitness represents. Yes, some of the workouts stem from the effective way athletes train, but the idea of pro athlete training is really meant to embody the feeling of being part of a special “team” of like-minded people who are working toward a common goal. It’s an important concept that binds the best sports teams to achieve true success.

In our case, the goal is to get you in the best shape of your life and to help you hurdle past the 7 most common obstacles (mentioned earlier) that hold most people back from achieving their health and fitness goals.

Recapture Your Youth

New 4-Week Training Plans

Now that you have all the workouts, it might be useful to know when to do each one right? Well, that’s what the 4-week Training Plans are for. They will give you day-by-day structure (throughout each month) as to which workouts you should do on a specific day.

The neat thing is that there is a good degree of freedom and flexibility in terms of which workouts you choose to use. I understand that you have slightly different needs than the next person and; therefore, you have the option on certain days to choose an additional cardio workout or any of your “secondary workouts”.

Each month presents a new training plan that builds upon the previous month. You get the structure and flexibility all at once!


On-Going Social Support in the “Locker Room” Forum

The “Locker Room” is where you’ll get to hang out with all of your teammates. You can find a workout buddy, get your questions answered, post your workout progress, and anything else that will help you out.

Anatomy of the Fitter U Fitness Training System

Without giving away all of the secrets that make my Fitter U Fitness training system one-of-a-kind, I do want to give you a better understanding of how each month is broken down and what you can expect.

After reading the above paragraphs, you now know that you’ll be getting 6-8 new workouts each month. This is important so that you have plenty of variety and that your body never hits a plateau.

All of these workouts will come in video format and of 4 of them will also be in MP3 audio format. You will also get the PDF workout trackers and exercise pictures for each workout. And to bring everything together, you’ll have the structure of the 4-week training plans. And let’s not forgot the on-going social support you’ll get in the team’s “Locker Room” forum.

Earlier, I briefly mentioned “primary workouts” and “secondary workouts”. I’ll now explain what these are and how you can make sense of them. The easiest way to think of them is by thinking back to your school years where you had “required” and “elective” courses. Remember those?


Your Primary Workouts

Each month, you’ll be getting 2 new “primary workouts”. These are your “required courses” as it is recommended that you follow these workouts on the suggested days. They are your main full body workouts that come in video and mp3 format. They are usually repeated 4-5 times per month and they can be done at home or in the gym, as they require minimal equipment (ie. a few dumbbells). On average, your primary workouts take about 25 minutes to complete and are absolutely exhilarating as they feature many of my innovative body transforming athletic training methods.

Your 4-week training plan lets you know exactly when to do these workouts. In Month 1 of Fitter U Fitness, your primary workouts are “Total Body Conditioning 1” and “Push, Pull & Swing 1”. In Month 2, your primary workouts are “Total Body Conditioning 2” and “Fat Blaster 1”. You’ll obviously get to know these much more intimately once you join the team!


Your Secondary Workouts

Now, the “secondary workouts” is where you get a lot of variety and flexibility. Each month you’ll have roughly 4 new secondary workouts. These “elective” workouts offer you more focus and specificity than their primary counterparts. For instance, the Month 1 secondary workouts include: “Bodyweight Circuit 1”, “Chest and Back 1”, “Arm Sculpter 1”, "Stretching 1", and “Core 1”.

As you can tell by their names, they tend to specialize in specific areas of the body as well as specific types of training (ie. plyometrics, stretching, etc...).

I should mention that the focus with Fitter U Fitness is not to build big bulky muscles. Rather, it’s about developing strength, tone, and greater overall fitness, while shedding unnecessary fat through “athletic-like” workouts. Some workouts are more athletic than others but they are definitely “doable” no matter your exercise experience.

The goal with the secondary workouts is to offer you a great deal of selection so that you can choose the workouts that most resonate with your fitness goals.

Once again, your 4-week training plan will let you know when to use these workouts and whenever you have this option, you can choose whichever secondary workout you’d like.


Your Cardio Workouts

We recently conducted a survey and found that a whopping 63% of you were most interested in cardio workouts. That’s great news because each month of your Fitter U Fitness membership, you’ll be receiving 3-4 new cardio workouts - this in an addition to your 6-8 strength workouts.

Two of these will be interval training workouts that are in mp3 format – so you’ll have my coaching and motivation on your headphones. The other two will be self-directed “lighter” cardio workouts that you can choose to do on your own.

The cardio workouts can be enjoyed in any cardio format you like – running, biking, elliptical, rower, etc…

Even though cardio workouts are included each month, rest assured that your “primary workouts” will provide tremendous cardiovascular and fat burning benefits as they feature higher intensity training with little rest between exercises. You’ll see what I mean when you give them a shot.


My Secret Recipe Revealed?

People ask me all the time, “Yuri, what’s your secret to creating such quick workouts that produce great results?”

Well, if I told you it would no longer be a secret, now would it?

But there are a few things I can share with you.

First, my workouts model what many professional use in their training regimes. I should know – I use to be one and now I create them for other athletes. There’s a reason that athletes have such fit and lean bodies. You’re about to discover their secret.

Second, my fat burning training methods are somewhat contrary to what you may have been led to believe by “everyone else”. Most people believe that to burn fat and “tone” you need to use light weights and perform lots of reps. At the same time, we have been brainwashed to believe (unless you’ve been with me for a while) that spending hours on the cardio machines is necessary for burning lots of calories.

WOW! The nonsense that is out there is truly mind blowing.

Third, many people are surprised when I tell them that they are wasting their time if they are working out for more than 40 minutes! They exclaim, “But Yuri, if I want to burn calories, then I need to exercise for a long period of time!”

Nothing could be further from the truth, considering that the longer you exercise, the lower your intensity needs to be in order to complete the duration of the workout. Intensity is the most important aspect of your training. Nothing else matters if you don’t break a sweat!

So there you have it. Three little myths that have polluted the minds of millions of people! I hope you haven’t been infected. Even if you have, as a Fitter U Fitness member, you’ll learn the truth and have my proven training methods at your fingertips to get better results in half the time!
